What I like best about the Salesforce Platform is its flexibility and ecosystem. The ability to build custom objects, workflows, and automations quickly without heavy custom code makes it powerful for supporting evolving business needs.
I also value the AppExchange ecosystem, which allows teams to extend functionality instead of reinventing the wheel. That said, while these strengths are real, they don’t always translate into simplicity or performance at scale which is why I rated it a 4. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
What I dislike about the Salesforce Platform is that complexity increases very quickly at scale. As orgs grow, heavy customizations, multiple integrations, and layered automations can make the system harder to maintain, troubleshoot, and upgrade.
Performance can also become inconsistent, and many issues are platform-driven rather than configuration-driven, which limits how much control support or admin teams actually have. On top of that, licensing and feature dependencies can feel restrictive relative to cost.
Overall, it’s a powerful platform but one that often trades simplicity and predictability for flexibility Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
